What Will I See?

At both of these shows, you will have an opportunity to come and meet a part of our team at Blackdown Shepherd Huts as well as walk around a selection of our huts. At Royal Windsor Horse Show, we will be exhibitng our Meridian Workspace Hut (ideal for those in need of a calming and productivity boosting space that eliminates the stress of rushing around and missing that vital cup of coffee), and our brand-new Sauna Cabin – perhaps an ideal treat after a busy day in the Meridian Workspace Hut!

Our Blackdown Sauna Cabin will also be journeying with us to Badminton Horse Trials, but this time accompanied by our much-loved Modular Turnkey Hut, which provides ample space for family and glamping uses alike.

What Can I Do?

In addition to touring our shepherd huts, there will also be plenty of things you can do during your visit to either of these shows. Both Royal Windsor Horse Show and Badminton Horse Trials are renowned equestrian events.  You’ll find top class showing and International showjumping, combined with family fun crowd pleasers such as military displays and the Shetland pony Grand National in the iconic back garden of our King at Royal Windsor.  A skip across country to Gloucestershire provides dressage to savour, cross-country riding to cheer on and show jumping to watch between your fingers.

There will also be workshops and talks for you to attend and shopping villages at both events for you to lose track of time in.

Our Top Tips For Show Season

Planning to attend a show such as one of these can be very exciting, however we have prepared a couple of tips to help your planning process.

  • Feel comfortable – There is nothing worse than bringing out your very best Sunday clothes, high heels or newly-polished shoes for it to then rain and you end up cold and muddy! We always suggest wearing clothes and shoes that are comfortable and suitable for these events.
  • Bring snacks and drinks – We all love trying out the food stands at these shows, but we also know that constantly buying snacks and drinks on site can be a little expensive. Therefore, ensure to bring plenty of water so you don’t have to worry about feeling thirsty or waiting in line for a drink.
  • Bring a bag (or three!) – On your travels around the shopping village, you may want to collect multiple information booklets, business cards or even treat yourself there and then to a gift or two, so why not bring a few reusable bags with you so you are prepared, ready to go and also helping the environment!

We hope to see you at either Royal Windsor Horse Show or Badminton Horse Trials! We are at Stand F202 at Royal Windsor Horse Show and Stand 261, Beaufort Way at Badminton Horse Trials.

See you there, Team Blackdown
