Tilbury Farm shepherd huts are tucked into the perimeter hedgerows and native trees of a hillside meadow, the huts are situated privately from each other and enjoy stunning southern views across Taunton Vale.

About you….
We are Matt & Jenny Ambler, a family with three kids aged 11 ,9 and 7.
What kind of huts do you have?
We have two huts named after sheep breeds.
What will the huts be used for?
Our huts are for guests to book and they include a kitchen and bathroom and daybed. They sleep two adults and a child under 6yrs.
What makes your huts special?
We have the best views in Somerset and are only a five-minute walk to a Gastro Pub. The huts are aimed at couples or young families who want to relax with spectacular views.
What is the interior design like?
The huts feature William Morris blinds, Sanderson plaid day bed cushion cover and Farrow and Ball subtle paint colours. There are many sheepskins for throwing over the outdoor furniture as well as the daybed with many more cushions.
The kitchen has oak work surfaces, a tiny Shaw butler sink and a gorgeous wood burner complete with a small oven. An oak dining table with benches (storage below) folds down to reveal the cosy double bed. The bed features luxury Egyptian cotton sheets, a Devon woollen mattress topper and duvet. We have stayed in the huts ourselves and the bed is really comfy!!
What do you love about shepherd’s huts and how will yours add to your business?
We love the oak and the solid construction. The high quality gets commented on by the guests and you need a premium product to get a premium price.
What kind of experience will guests get when they stay with you?
We aim for a high-end but relaxed experience where the guests feel looked after but not crowded.
What was the delivery and general customer service like from Blackdown?
The delivery went well in trying conditions!
