Oak Chassis and framework for your self-build shepherd hut. Available in 12ft, 14ft, 16ft & 18ft lengths.
Base: 95x45mm redwood frame, secured together with flush industrial strength fixings. Underside fitted with a sturdy 12mm ply lining, coated in a water resistant black finish.
Walls: 4 no. 38 x 64mm redwood stud frames securely fixed together. This unique system is designed for quick easy site assembly (fixings supplied). All door and window apertures (to your specification) are built into the walls with a 5mm tolerance given horizontally and vertically.
Roof: 48 x 64mm curved rafters constructed from glued cross grained veneers giving a light durable and strong roof structure, 38 x 64mm noggins are used between rafters giving a very solid structure. Extra rafters are added at each end so the internal roof cladding can be fixed from inside once the roof is secured (fixings supplied for securing the roof to walls).
Roof sheets: 0.7mm first grade galvanised corrugated steel sheets with a highly durable PVC plastisol coating, finished in black (fixings supplied).
Waterproofing: Breathable waterproof membrane that covers the walls and roof prior to the cladding being attached.
Fascia & bargeboard: All in prepared softwood, the fascia (straight timber running along edge of roof sheets) is supplied oversized so it can be scribed into the corrugation (scribe & instructions supplied). The curved bargeboards (go under the roof sheets at either end) are supplied in 2 sections that have a biscuit joint in the centre for a seamless finish.
